The Summary shows the Deceased's UK Estate and joint property passing by Survivorship at the date of Death, which has been entered into the system. It also provides the calculation of the Net and Gross Estate for Probate purposes.

Below is a breakdown of the Assets and Liabilities that make up the totals shown in the Summary. The figures are given for the date of death and the amount realised to date.

The Assets are divided into those on which any IHT must be paid immediately and those on which IHT can be paid by instalments. At the bottom of the Summary is a breakdown of the Deceased's Liabilities at the date of Death and the amount paid in respect of those liabilities to date.

The circles with numbers show two things. The number indicates how many items make up the total and the colour determines whether the user has set that element of the Estate as complete. White = incomplete; green = complete.
